Onsite Assessment


A CareOptimize Consultant will be onsite for 1.5 days to execute the following:

  • Interview key team members including clinical personnel
  • Perform an EHR system audit to assess current issues and inefficiencies including any reporting issues that need to be addressed
  • Review the current KBM procedures, modifications, and customizations as well as manual procedures
  • Fix anything that can be immediately addressed
  • Determine what training materials are needed and identify processes and personnel for going forward
  • Review existing workflows and establish a baseline for the Core Team
  • Present preliminary findings to the Client Core Team and Key Stakeholders

A CareOptimize Consultant will also work remotely and onsite with the Business Office and Check-in/Scheduling Department on the following:

  • Practice Discovery and Preparation, including running a “State of the Practice” report
  • Assess current state of financial performance, key performance indicators, and provider demographics
  • Review System Set Up
  • Onsite Workflow Review and Process Assessment

Deliverables – The final deliverable will be a summary document and plan inclusive of the following:

  • Discovery findings and observations
  • Best practice recommendations and optimization opportunities around workflow and any system/template enhancements
  • A proposal/plan for implementing best practice opportunities, which will include recommended
